Welcome to Wolfe Island Riverfront Golf Course

Where Lake Ontario & the St. Lawrence River meet sits Wolfe Island, the first & largest of the world reknown 1000 Islands. On the south shore of the Island facing the United States and the international shipping channel you will find Wolfe Island Riverfront Golf course. Built in 2003 & operated by the McCready's on their heritage farm that has been in the family for over 150 years, this 9 hole, par 35 course offers breathtaking views of the majestic St.Lawrence River from every hole. See ships of the world sailing by or catch a glimpse of the resident pair of nesting Osprey's.

With it's open design, well manicured fairways and large 5000 sq ft greens the course is perfect for families & novice golfers but also challenging enough for the more accomplished golfer to enjoy as well. The beautiful, acclaimed signature hole #5, features a pond along the waterfront lined with field stones and flower beds. Completed by a windmill, bird houses and a foot bridge to cross the pond that you shoot over, it is said to be one of the most picturesque holes in the area.

Getting to Wolfe Island is 1/2 the fun, whether you are coming from the US or Canadian shores a short ferry ride (20 minutes no charge from Kingston, Ontario or 5 mintues with a fee from Cape Vincent, New York) will land you on our quaint, friendly, agricultural island; some say it's like going back in time.

After your golf game, linger longer and visit the crown jewel of Wolfe island ~ 3 mile long Big Sandy Bay beach (one of the Thousand Island's best kept secrets), explore a corn maze or wander the small village of Marysville and indulge & savour a mouthwatering treat from the reknown Wolfe Island Bakery, enjoy lunch or browse the local art gallery.

We would welcome hosting your next corporate or fundraising golf tourament and would be happy to help you pull together an outstanding event. With advance notice shuttle service is available from both ferries for groups.

Island life is slower, come escape for a few hours and unwind!
